Kanika entrusted us with their online store development in early 2024, venturing into the world of trading cards and collectible stickers as distributors for well-known brands like Panini and Topps. Collaborating closely with the Kanika team, we aimed for simplicity, uniqueness, and invitation in the user experience.
We built it mobile-first, believing that at least 75% of users would browse from mobile — and it proved correct, with 88% of first-month visitors arriving on a mobile device. We brainstormed extensively to ensure an intuitive journey, using high-contrast colours to captivate attention while keeping the experience clear and fast. Together, we strived to make Kanika’s online presence as distinctive as their products.
We designed and built a fully custom WooCommerce store with a homepage collection slider to showcase featured sets and new arrivals prominently. Bundle product offerings were built to support multi-product deals. A customer profile system with order history and automated delivery tracking emails was implemented. Multilingual integration was set up in three languages.
Email marketing was configured for post-purchase and promotional flows. A sales strategy was developed alongside the build to support the launch. Search with autocomplete functionality was integrated for fast product discovery. Full SEO optimisation was applied across product and category pages. The store now achieves over 20,500 organic clicks per year and a 70% engagement rate.
